Brake chatter! Help?
Hey folks, I have an '87 911 that has '79 930 calipers and rotors. I have read that the floating rotors are prone to chatter but I am getting a lot of noise! Anyway to fix this? Are there springs that I can change out etc?

Anyone familiar with the floating rotors or anyone out there have Porsche 930 brakes from a 1979? Are they noisy?

I have no direct experience, but here is some reading for you:
Are the advantages of floating rotors worth it? '78 930 with non-floating front rotors? Normal? 993 brake conversion on Carrera - questions The Zuffenhaus Boys are at it again... 917 style calipers Front Floating Rotors
