looking for custom sleeve on nose #8 bearing

Nose #8 bearing is leaks and engine in '83 911 was rebuilt like last 6 month ago and its running great and leaks free till nose #8 bearing o-ring started leaks-seem not sealing anymore or out of round clearance issues I have no ideas. But I dont want to apart the motor down for only replace a 0-ring to stop the leaks. Its pretty cost a lot of time to work on them like start over with rebuilt and buy a some gasket kits.

I ve been looking around the forum here about nose #8 bearing but I just want to bring those topic back here again and looking for more opinion...

I was thinking about build a custom sleeve for seal up the nose bearing with jb welds. Have any of you guys has experienced w/ this?

Also, Ill have to measure the nose bearing for custom sleeve design and give the specs. to cnc machine local to make one for me. Good bet?

Someone posted a fix for the #8 bearing leak that involved JB Weld and a ring that clamped onto the #8. Might have been Tom Amom(sp?).
