Brake Lights no worky. help!

I just found out today that my brake lights don't work! Checked the fuse and it's good. The driving lights work but when I press the brakes, the brighter brake lights do not go on?! Is there a sensor that the brake pedal triggers? Someone please help!

the third brake light in the rear window doesn't work either. I checked and even replaced the bulbs and still same prb.

I have a 1987 911 Coupe.

Thanks for the help!

Gerry

Oh Man,

It's probably the two Brake Light Switch (BLS) at the Master Cylinder.

Some of us un-lucky P-car owners have either slow brakes lights or in your case complete failure.

You can replace the BLS's but most likely the symptoms will return.

I have a fix if you need it.

Do a search and you will see my findings.
