New 911SC owner

Greetings,
Just had to show off my new purchase, had it for a whole week now. 1983 SC, 24,000 miles. I also have a 1987 944. I like them both but the 911 is way more fun.
When I went in to get plates for the 911, the lady behind the counter handed me the plates and the last three digits were; 911, how cool is that?
Here are some pictures that the dealer took, I haven't had a chance to take any of my own yet. Snow and freezing rain here in South Dakota this week.

Welcome to the World Domination Plot! Beautiful car!

I am leaving early in the morning to meet my family out in Rapid City. What part of SD are you in? Maybe if timing worked out, we could meet for lunch or dinner somewhere on the way?

Shane,
I'm in Watertown. East side of the state. Be careful when you get this far north, it's been freezing rain all day. I'll be at work everyday until 5. Stop in and say hi, I'm at the Advance Auto on Highway 212, right next to Pizza Hut. Hmmmm, pizza.

Very nice!!! I love it.

I was just in SoDak last week. Drove out from the twin cities to shoot some birds.

What city are you in?

Man, I just closed mine up last week and I already can't wait 'til spring. What month is it? Crap.

Watertown! Very familiar with the Micky D's there. Always a stop on the way out to Gan Valley. It was gusting to 50 the weekend before last when we came back through there.

Nice! Congrats!

Suggestion though, you will want to get a chin spoiler on that thing if you're going to keep the tea tray out back. Plenty of threads on pelican about aerodynamic instability with your current setup.

That looks like a sweet car.

I bet it is even better in person.
I hope the weather clears up there for one more nice day so you can at least take it out once this year.
Congrats!

Welcome to the board! My wife is from Watertown so we get up there several times a year.
