New (Old) Shocks

I am stoked just picked up pair of used but in excellent condition complete Bilstein shocks for my 82 SC. Can you believe I got them for $590 for the pair, beats the hell out of $600+ each for new ones. Now all I need is comprehensive install instructions to get them fitted. Will be tackling this soon as my drivers side shock is a bit spongy...

Did you buy the entire strut assembly for the front? If not, get your money back from the seller cause you got hosed, my friend.

Pelican has Bilstein shocks NEW for much less.

Wayne,
Entire strut assemblies is what I meant by complete shocks. They are listed at $655 by host same page further down..

Changing your struts is a lot more involved than doing the inserts. Are you sure you needed to replace the whole assembly?

That makes more sense and it does sound like a good deal.

Sorry to intrude on your good fortune.
