I have third hand info that most repro grilles are narrower than stock. Maybe someone can measure?

I have a pair of the Stoddard chrome grilles on my '72. The fitment is fair. I have purchased a set of original grilles in need of restoration. When I get them refinished I will be ditching the repops.

I dug up an original and compared it with the repros I bought last year. The originals are a good 7mm wider than the repros. I hear that is typical.

Well, I recently moved and haven't uncovered the battery charger for either camera, so you're SOL on the photos for the time being, Shaun.

The stock horn grille I have measures about 154mm across, horizontally across the center.

The repro horn grilles (bought from the late Tom Dance) measure 147mm across. height and all other specs appear identical.

There may be more than one source of repro horn grilles, of course...

not sure if my chrome horn grill off my '71 is original or not. I measured 6" across.
