The engine I posted is in an 83 Euro SC. No AC, cruise, foglights. Does have power windows. I put in a TRE rollbar, it has Recaro SRD seats and FIKSE FM10's. It has a Carrera tail. I have the weight at home and can post that from the corner balance. I want to say it was around 2,400 lbs. The suspension is pretty track focused and not real comfortable as a daily driver or on dates unless your woman loves her kidney workouts. I have a more stock 82 SC as a DD. I've been contemplating transplanting the 3.2 into the other SC to get down to 1 911 as a compromise between the two.

Our cars are more or less identical, only mine is blue, sans tail/lip spoiler. My car is a no A/C, no cruise car from the factory as well, and even came with the nasty berber cloth std. seats, now changed to leather. My car was at 2350 lbs. last time I weighed it with probably 1/4 tank of fuel, no stereo, no spare tire / jack / toolkit, but other than that it had full interior. The suspension setup I described in my previous post is exactly what I'm running. I personally love it and can fling it around with complete reckless abandon when I'm alone in the twisties, and then cruise around L.A. and hit the city at night. The only reason I even have a daily driver is because I don't want to put bumper-to-bumper commuter miles on it.

Quite a few people running 915's with 3.6 and 3.3 turbos. Jack still had a '74 mag-case 915 in BBII last time I looked at his build sheet.

It's big torque at low RPM and/or hard launches that 915's can't handle.

I have to disagree on seats. Early to mid 84's had manual seats stock. Power drivers seat was optional, then became standard, then did the passenger seat. I believe everything else is true.

I've heard the the "Carreras" were considered "Yuppie" cars due to the power windows, leather, sunroof....
