Question Throw Out Bearing Guide Tube

Is there a specification for the throw out bearing guide tube outer diameter?

When I put the TO bearing on the tube it has a very small amount of play, is this acceptable?

I just had mine out! I only had two small ware spots that I welded up and turned back down on my lathe, Mine has very little play, thats why I fixed the spots, thinking to slide well it had to fit close otherwise it looked like the bearing could get cocked if there was too much play.

Is there any way to check a guide tube? Mine "looks" fine on my '88 which had a new clutch put in by the PO just before I bought it and I believe this was replaced.
