Recaro seat upholstry???

Any one car to comment on the issues wrt removing Recaro racing shell upholstry?? I'd like to paint my shells Riv Blau.

hi bill

i have removed and replaced the upholstery on my sparco race seats. they have a hook and spring under the front which tensions a cable around the edge of the fabric. if your recaro's are similar then you just unhook the spring and peel them off.

Thanks! Recaro has the same arrangement, I can't believe that I didn't see it untill you described it.
