Spark Plugs for 3.2?

I want to get the best I can out of my 3.2 ignition. It is chipped with cat bypass and used mostly for DE's on 90+ deg days.

What spark plugs should I use?

What is the best plug wire set up? I am not concerned about my radio if that still means anything.

Anything special about the spark plug gap.

I had done some research in the archives and lost my notes.

Thanks for advance.

Sorry for not using the search button first.

Seems the NGK BPR6ES is the most recommended. Hope this is the ticked for DE events.

As to wires the Clewett spark plug wires seem to be popular.

How can I make my ignition the best it can be?

I have the Clewett wires on my car and they haven't failed me yet.

As far as making your ignition as good as possible.. just make sure everything is clean and in working order is what I always do.

While some will say it isn't necessary with motronics ignition, others have found that an MSD unit with larger gap (.045") plugs improves the performance of the 3.2, and emissions testing.
