Introduction
Better late than never I guess. I've been lurking here for a couple of months and the board has already saved my bacon on a couple of projects. So Thanks! you guys are great the amount of knowledge exhibited here on a daily basis is humbling and appreciated.
I'm not a P-car expert but have spent several years as a mechanic so I'll try and help out where I can. Here is a picture of my baby. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1228354968.jpg When I turned 40 the wife told me I could get the car but no new girlfriend so I got the sexiest car I could find. I think I might have gotten the better end on that deal. :) Anyway she is an 88 with just over 90k oh the clock. I have big plans for her, ok mostly I just plan on having a good time driving her and making myself incredibly happy while doing it. Starting to ramble so once again thank you and if there is anything I can do to help anyone out or if there is a Chicago area get together let me know. Darren |

Thanks for the welcome and the nice comments. aminter0: I really like the brown interior, although after seeing the pictures of Jays 2 tone brown and cashmere I think I may do a little updating next summer. So far since owning it I have put new pads and rotors all the way around and a new radio, so pretty minor. Or at least that is all I've done outside of standard oil etc. Oh yeah and thanks to a thread on the board I was able to get my defroster blower motors working. I am pretty sure that between this car and my imagination coming up with projects for it I might as well give up any presence of being able to retire with anything in the bank. |
welcome !!! Enjoy your (new to you) Porsche!!! and be sure to drive it!!!
