Introduction

Better late than never I guess. I've been lurking here for a couple of months and the board has already saved my bacon on a couple of projects. So Thanks! you guys are great the amount of knowledge exhibited here on a daily basis is humbling and appreciated.
I'm not a P-car expert but have spent several years as a mechanic so I'll try and help out where I can. Here is a picture of my baby.

When I turned 40 the wife told me I could get the car but no new girlfriend so I got the sexiest car I could find. I think I might have gotten the better end on that deal. Anyway she is an 88 with just over 90k oh the clock. I have big plans for her, ok mostly I just plan on having a good time driving her and making myself incredibly happy while doing it.

Starting to ramble so once again thank you and if there is anything I can do to help anyone out or if there is a Chicago area get together let me know.

Darren

Just the girlfriend probably not, but then you have to pay the wife and she would probably take my other toys just to be spiteful. All in all I think this was probably the better way to go.

Thanks for the welcome and the nice comments.

aminter0:
I really like the brown interior, although after seeing the pictures of Jays 2 tone brown and cashmere I think I may do a little updating next summer.

So far since owning it I have put new pads and rotors all the way around and a new radio, so pretty minor. Or at least that is all I've done outside of standard oil etc. Oh yeah and thanks to a thread on the board I was able to get my defroster blower motors working.
I am pretty sure that between this car and my imagination coming up with projects for it I might as well give up any presence of being able to retire with anything in the bank.
