SC Paint Code Help

I'm in the process of a total body restoration of my 1980SC sunroof coupe. Body work includes a front clip to fix previous PO damage and crappy repairs and current run-in with a truck! Car currently has an awful black repaint. Hidden areas show a burgundy-type color. The paint code from the paint tag is 017-9-2 (Burgunderott-Porsche-Glasuritt). I've tracked the code to the 1972 911 production year. My questions are: Would the 017 (burgundy red) paint be a "special order" for an 80SC? Will Glauritt still have the paint formula for the 017 1972 paint code? Can anyone who has an 017 burgundy red 911 please post a photo so I can get an idea of the color? I'll appreciate any help you guys can give me!!! Thanks, Charlie

Thanks! I did check that site and found no 017 paint code. Interesting to note that Guard's Red and Black were apparantly pretty popular colors for the SC"s according to the Registry. Did note 21 plus wine red metallics, 5 ruby reds and one "burgundy" SC on the list! Charlie

This site has a photo of the color for late 60's cars. The 70 to 73 webiste has it as a 1970 color but no picture. I didn't see a bugundy for 1980.
