Alright, I finally feel for you guys in the north.

So yesterday morning it was a nice brisk 13 degrees when I left to go to work.... 0 with the wind chill. So cold my key wouldn't work in the driver's side door. So, maybe they're not the most fun car to deal with in winter.

Lol, I used to only drive my RSA in the winter when I lived in SC. Now it's unfortunately my daily driver until someone buys it, and it gets a lot colder here in MD. As I said, I finally get it. At least I'm not in NH.

What I don't get is why you'd move northward ...

Cold down here this morning, down in the 20's.

Did you hear about the "small" water main break in MD?

Some were rescued by helicopter

Oh, you poor things...

This morning it was -22 F here. Not much wind though, thankfully. Hell, even on the west coast Vancouver Island this morning it was 10 F and they normally never even get snow! How about that global warming...

if it makes you feel any better, I've survived a few -20 degree winters in Japan. That was like... so cold you were happy when under 2 layers of gloves you stopped being able to feel your fingers because they stopped hurting.

Damn! I actually hadn't heard about the "small water leak" which is insane because I practically live right there.

I'd hate to see a large leak if a small one gives you a lake three feet deep.

Yeah, you can almost see the freezing rain blowing in on Sunday

Seriously, I do feel for the snow-bound guys. Even the frost was intense for here. R compound Advans are fun with a little ice on the canyon roads. I went out a little later in the morning but there was still some slick black ice in the shady turns. Luckily, I know the stretch of road well.

I do not know how I could stand being unable to drive the 911 due to weather.

Ice on the birdbath today. Lasted until 9AM. Very confusing for the local birds. Good P-Car weather.

I run R's year round too....gotta think about getting some heat in them before cranking em up on the twisties. I've got MPSC's right now-and they like some heat. I've a new set of Advan R's in the garage going on next month.

Here is Vic Elford still going all-out blasting through the snowy special stages through the Monte mountains. What a 911 driver!

I has the same thing, driver lock was frozen and I went in through the passenger to unlock it from the inside.

My heater blower motor is disconnected due to a shot bearing; I am wearing a leather jacket over a sweater with thick socks on in the morning

If you post your correct mailing address....I can send you some snow to remind you of the conditions we are in right now.
It is unusual for British Columbia to get this amount of snow on the lower mainland roads, but apparently we did something to deserve it!...LOL
I wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New year....and please drive safely.

Bob (in the middle of a BIG snow drift)

Bob,

I dont feel bad for you in this aspect, as I love your neck of the woods, but if all you have a is a 69 with an engine removed and a Harley, I guess you havent been able to leave the house? lol

Man I feel for bad y'all. It's been in the 70's the last couple of days here. My P-car is in a state of re-do so I drove around today in my XJ6 with the sunroof wide open. I wish y'all were down here so we could kill some scotch and stogies out on my deck tonight in our shorts and flip flops. I'm sure the stories would be great. Happy Holidays to everyone!
