Iris....such a pretty name for a girl with such a mean snarl! Muffler under development Randy? I loved those two exhaust marks she left on the trailer wall! Guys, it's a shame you can't HEAR Iris, it really is! It's a mean snarl, but sexy somehow....

Oh...and I thought it was 36-24-36!

Please Randy, may I take your daughter out on a date? I promise I won't treat her like a slut!

Jokes aside, that is one helluva 911. Makes me wonder if there is anything on it that is NOT modified? Oh, question, Randy. Do you know how much Iris weighs? I know it's not polite to ask for a lady's weight but I was wondering if you put her on a diet, or is she still her old self?

Guys, really...it's a shame you can't HEAR her! She's a definite treat to the eye, but ohhhh her voice! Janis Joplin in a six cylinder full tilt boogie! I've had the pleasure, and you know? I want to hear MORE!

Alright SC owners!!!!!!!!!!
We are being showed up by these early body wanks!

We need a SC owner to make his/her car look like Jacks and Randys!
Holey frickin' cow what a georgous car.
I love it. I really love it. Jacks is equally beautiful but I am partial to the blue metallic paint. Stunning would be a more accurate description.

Very nice car Randy, ...now I feel that I am even starting to think that I don't like those impact bumpers....DID I SAY THAT???!!!

Akkkk!
Communist subversion!
I must repent!!!!!!!!!!!!

Easily the best looking 911 that I've seen on here. Certainly no offense, Jack.

Any 0-60, 0-100 or quarter mile times?

The tranny rebuild a big improvement in fun? I'm thinking of doing mine.

WOW.

No offense taken, guys. Randy's 'Scarlet Harlot' (aka Iris) is an amazing combination of smart choices and incredible attention to detail. 281 hp, in an engine that light, is something that even Porsche's 964 engineers couldn't match. By comparison, my car is kind of a quick and dirty sketch -- body from one era, engine from another. I wouldn't trade Black Beauty for anything, but Randy's car is really more of an 'in-a-perfect-world 911' than mine is.

And I applaud that. The more lovingly-tricked-out long-hood 911s in this world, the better. And the R Gruppe gathering proved that there is a whole world of these cars, in every color and flavor.

Here's a slightly cleaned-up version of the same picture:

Jack, no insult was intended to the 'Black Beauty', all of these cars we see are beautiful and most of us can only dream of owning cars as cool as yours.
Ours are by comparison 'boring/lame!'.
However even my faded, daily driver with chips and dings currently sitting dead in the parking lot means a lot to me!.
They invoke feelings that 'Japcrap' can never mimic!

Spectacular. Breathtaking. I MUST hear this car. 281 horsies, huh? With lower 2nd, 3rd and 4th gears? I guess it should be able to keep up with traffic on I-5.

Fabulous car, Randy.

Leland, the car uses an SC crank case and front end, so we could consider it an SC. Right?

And how could anything look better than our duckbilled platypusses? Platypussies? Platypi?

Wink

Randy,

It's great of you to post your specs. It shows all the thought you have put into making it "your" car. Having met you and seen (and heard) your car at Cambria, I can attest it is one mean and beautiful machine - a real R Gruppe 911. Can't wait till you bring it to a Bremerton autocross - "Can I drive your car?!"
