Orientation of fan deflector cone.

I'm putting my SC engine back together and didn't take a pic of how the little deflector cone that attaches to the back of the fan (the one that covers of the alternaetor) goes on. Anyone have a pic on how the cone needs to be attached to the alt?

Thanks for any help.

Send a message via AIM to Gogar
Orient the cone so that the fins on the cone will push air coming from the fan DOWN onto the cylinders.

Hope that makes sense.

Flat part of the mounting surface is on the bottom. If you have an SC or later there should be a cutout on the bottom for the voltage regulator (I think that is what it is for..)
