ITS ALIVE!! I found a short in the coils ground wire. BUT.... I dont have a tach. Do I need the tach adapter or can I just wire it into the harness? Also, what did you guys gap your plugs too?

The tach adaptor seems to be a weird issue, in that I couldn't really find any consistency in what applications require it and what don't. By the book, mine *should* have required one, but it didn't - I just hooked it up and the tach performed like it always did. Other guys I read about shouldn't have needed one but did. My advice is to just hook it up and see what happens.

Plug gap should be wider than standard, but again I've read inconsistent results. I was in the process of playing with it to find the right gap when it came time to put her away for winter, so I still don't have that one answered fully. I noticed a harder cold start with too wide a plug gap. If memory serves, I started with a 1.6mm gap, then scaled it back to 1mm.
