Worlduph testimonial...(pics)

Holy big job...I just finished the driver seat with a Worlduph kit. I have to say that the kit and support from Worlduph is a world class one. It's was my first time as upholsterer...and it took me about 12 hours to strip the seat...to figure out how to install the kit and to finish the job. There are some pics of the final result...and I'm happy.

You need to stop making planes and start upholstering.

PS: My wife wants to know when you are comming over to redo the 70's couch in the basement ?

No more comments on your pants...

I just bought a Worlduph kit for my 1974 911 and got it shipped to Germany. I am going to start the job next week and hope that I will be successful as well.

There is a nice website which explains the installation step by step:

http://www.inlandimports.com/installation.html

They talk about 2 - 5 hrs per seat ... let's see how long I will need...

Cheers, Markus

Zef,

Nice work. Old seats look leather. Are new covers leather or vinyl?
Was your interior code VX "gray biege" by any chance? If so which of the Worlduph color options did you get and how close does it match?

Thanks in advance- Jerry
