voltage regulator part numbers are different!

oh crap....how perfect to have another little challenge....and in the new year to boot!

I have another post about finding a 3 pin CDI box on the firewall - and when I changed out the voltage regulator for my 'new replacement' the part numbers are a lot different.

old 0 190 601 006 it looks like mfgr is Brasilera

new 0 192 062 007 from Bosch

are these guys the same animal from different 'newly industrialized countries' and just have different part numbers? or does my cdi box change the game in here enough that I need a different volt reg????

67 normale, 911 SWB

thanks for your help - elec gurus!
