Speedster Windshield

I was looking through some speedster threads and ran across this picture. Does anyone know where that windshield came from?

It's possibly an MG-B windshield without the small, side quarter windows. It may have been extended too since Speedsters may have been wider than MGBs. Google MGBs and you can compare side by side.

I'm not particularly found of the car but I like the windshield and I think it would look great on an narrow-body longhood.

It doesn't look like any 356 I've seen and I did a search on MGB and it does look similar but nor the same. The side look similar to the MGB but the top of the frame is different. On this car the top is narrow and appears to be a separate part from the sides. The MGB seems to be all one part.

Any other ideas where one might find a windshield like this?

I've seen that screen (at least similar) installed on a couple of 356 replicas. One was actually a 356 roadster screen. The other was a 356 speedster with a trim piece on the corner that lets the roll-up side-window have a mating surface. The speedster windshield looks more curved at the corners, but maybe that's just my imagination...

Hi Angela... That sure looks a lot like it... I've never seen that windshield on a 356 (not that I'm a 356 expert by any means). Is that a replica windshield? Any idea who makes it? Thanks a lot for the pics.

Hi Mike... I'm around Anaheim but I'll be up in Santa Barbara in a couple weeks. I'll drop you an email. I was going to talk to you anyway about some graphics for a couple of my cars. Any idea how much these replica windshields are? Cheers
