Camshafts questions

Hello everyone

I have 2 questions that I hope can help me

Can I use 3.2 camshafts in my 3.0 sc and if you can, it will give a little extra?

Fits a 964 cam shaft at a 3.0 sc engine

Power distribution from a 964 with dual ignition can be mounted on a 3.0 sc
Or have other proposals for dual ignition?

Thank you in advance for your help

Sincerely, Lars Knudsen

All n/a 3.0 and 3.2 use cams w/ the same timing(234°/226° I/O duration, ovrlap 1mm) and lift, over the years they have been advanced or retarded set over a 6* range.

from '81 they all even have the same part #s,

yes, you can use them but no there is no improvement

There are several here using the 964 cams(240°/230° I/O duration, overlap 1.26mm), with a little more lift. The concern is piston clearance. I don't know what p/c sets they run

you can run the 964 dual ignition but the 3.0s all run backward from all the others, so the distributor drive gear on the crank needs to be changed
