Wow, thanks for the videos.

I am amazed how much care and precision goes into the manufacturing of a 356.

Great videos! Thanks for finding them and sharing.

I'll add these to the 911 factory videos that Jack Olsen provided for us on You Tube.

Besides nostalgic it also makes me more appreciate whatever handmade cars I can drive today!!

Also reminds me of an old saying: It takes workers of a hundred trades to provide what one needs for a day's living.

That was great. Love the old footage.
And it was especially interesting to see how the
bodies were assembled.

Jack posted them awhile back. Post 5 also mentions it.

I have seen bits and pieces of the 356 footage but not complete like this.

Thanks for posting these equality.

I've got a VHS of "Made by Hand" and watch it occasionally for sentimental reasons......boy I wish I still had my '65 356C, Irish Green with tan interior

I guess I should put it onto DVD to preserve it.

Great video.. shows real craftmanship.
But from the industrial perspective no wonder they moved to an autmated prod. line...

I put the wrong car in the title and couldn't change it after wards. Look at the first post and you'll see where I corrected myself.
