Targa aligning socket
Has anyone had any experience with these. One of mine is afloat and I need to get it tightened up.

Probably the receiver for the rear pins. A little silicone caulk?

Milt is correct, it is the socket where the two rear pins go into when putting the top on the car. One of mine is loose.

here's what they look like inside. Note that only the back is held by rubber. take the bar cover off and see how bad your rubber is. You may have to torch the existing rubber out and then resuspend the receiver tube and fill with either silicone or a flexible urethane.

Shaun 84 Targs,
Is there any way you could give me a better idea at what I'm looking at. JUST KIDDING!! I couldn't have asked for a better cut away of what I'm looking for. Thanks a ton, now I know what makes it up and how to deal with it. You're the absolute best. I love this place. Tom
