Porsche Crest Difference between SC and Carrera cams

Many times the idea of using 964 cams in an SC is recommended when upping the compression ratio while still running CIS. Many like the 964 cams because they are mildly hotter without disrupting CIS. I was curious what the difference in lift and duration is with Carrera cams vs. SC. Does anyone know the lift and duration numbers or are they the same between the SC and Carrera cams? Bruce's book didn't list Carrera cams in it. Thanks in advance for your help/comments.

I believe the profile is the same between SC and Carrera 3,2. The only difference is the timing.

I think you are correct. I just thought it strange that the few sources I have that cover both the SC and Carerra don't make that point. Bruce Anderson's book for example specifically mentions the SC cams and defines the lift and duration in his performance cam table but doesn't mention the Carerra cams in either the text or table. I just makes me wonder. Given the fact that the Carerra has DME and some of the problems of CIS go away, wouldn't it make sense for the factory to take advantage of a hotter cam? Hmmmm.

I have an opportunity to buy some Euro Carerra P&Cs and cams and I thought if the cams were a little hotter that there'd be a reason to put them in my SC. The plot thickens.
