picture of the front smile please (SC)

I just removed my old front "smile" (serious rust inside) off my '83 sc and have set the new one in place. However, I didn't take a picture of the old one before I removed it (I know, I know...) and the new doesn't seem to sit as far in. What I mean, is that it doesn't touch the front trunk seal, and I am thinking the old on did. Can some one please post a pic of the front bumper smile with trunk lid up please? I want to see if mine is far enough in, or if I am catching on something maybe? Seems to fit great, just doesn't look quite right somehow...Thanks in advance.
Jamie

Why when you misplace something is it always found the last place you look? Because you stop looking after you've found it

I have an 86, and I'm not sure if it is exactly the same but here are a few pictures. Let me know if you need a different angle.

that's exactly what I was looking for (and I think yours should be identical to mine). Thank you. It seems your smile touches the hood seal, where mine is now too far away...hmmmmm. I will have to mess around with it and try and figure out what is stopping it from touching.

I see where I am having a little bit of fitment issues. The slot in the smile for the fender edge is not deep enough, or the fender is misaligned. I think I will wait until I have new metal screws before I start messing around cutting stuff. It might just fit well enough for a daily driver. Thanks again for the pics.

After a night to sleep on it, it might just slip right into place. Good luck!
