Best tyre for 6x15 Fuchs

Hi. What is the best tyre for the 6x15 Fuchs?
I still have the tyres that the previous owner fitted, they are Dunlos SP Sport 205/55-15. They are a bit wide on the rim, and too low in profile as well...
I do some track-days and I guess there are better tyres around?

I've used 195/60 15s before, but the list of available tires in that size is dropping fast. Worse, the ones left that fit tend to be 'mid range' performance and 'all weather.'

Dunlop SP Sport 5000 is the highest performance alternative from Tire Rack.

The AVS ES100 should be available in that size too. I've used it and it's satisfactory.

Falken makes a decent tire as does Kumho.

The best list is not on Tire Rack but on tires.com (Discount tire). I expect some of these brands/models are different for European markets. Plus, there are some tires commonly available 'over there' that are only available here in very limited sizes, like Avon.

Next most popular size is (was) 185/70. Good luck finding anything...

+1 on the 195/60's. To me they were a great compromise between the stock 185/70 and size you currently have. My perspective was mostly related to "looks" at the time as I had not done any track time yet. I had them on my 73's with stock flares front and rear.
