1999 C4 check engine light

Hi everyone,

I bought a 1999 C4 46k miles a month ago, today i was driving to work and the check engine light went on. All the fluid are good, gauges good, had an oil change last week, my mechanic checked out the car everything was fine with ii, not sure if he forgot to reset the computer, or if it does it on its own.
Im hoping its just a maintenance check.
any suggestions?
any way to turn off the light?

thanks

You should be able to pull the code using an OBDII scanner. Autozone or Advance Auto should do it for you without any charge.
