Vacuum leak - check your brake booster line
![]() Red arrows - crimped clamps got loose, hoses moving freely over the nipples Green arrows - cracked rubber hose Black arrow - leak through the crimping Blue arrow - old and hardened O-ring It's possible to pull the assembly out by unmounting the heater blower moter and pushing it to the back of the engine bay. The short piece of hose is 15mm ID, 22mm OD. The longer hose is 12 (11.8)mm ID, 19mm OD. They have twice the wall thickness compared to regular vacuum hose of the same ID. Also check the brake booster vacuum hose leading from engine bay to center tunnel, as per John Walker: vacuum leak you probably didn't ever think of
