The flow is very good when the car is moving. It (obviously) increases with increasing speed. The inlet hole is small, but all I need. No filters etc to restrict the air. I was going to make the inlet from fiberglass, but this was easier to make as I aready had the aluminum parts. Since it works so well I will keep it as it is. Remember that water will get into the system when it's raining. I just made a small hole in the hose that connects the inlet to the air vents in the dashboard. Water runs down into the smuggler's compartment and out of a hole down there. Nice hair dryer set up! Maybe something I'll try myself to speed up the defrost

Project abandoned after seeing how twisted and poor the airflow would be after going around the wiper arms.
I'll go see if I can find the old vent and bastardize that.
