3.2L engine identifiers?

I'm in the process of buying an engine reportedly out of a 1987 911. The only numbers i have is off of the head #930.105.111 and the intake #911.110.1692r.
The slanted intake is on top facing the fan etc., my question is where can you find the block numbers or other identifiers on the engine. Not sure if it isn't actually an early model 3.2L or maybe a 3.0L engine. thank you Roy

Nope. 3.0 CIS motor pre-'83 there. And I wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole off eBay with such little information.
