Thumbs up

Great idea since we Porsche owners never grow tired of showing off our cars

I feel torn between this and the identically-intentioned site Mark Szabo put together...

And in the same week Rennlist offers a discussion board like this one...

Can there be too much of a good thing?

Wayne, I think I've found a security bug in the gallery. I was able to go in and edit your page. This probably ought to be fixed.

Sorry about the graffiti I left.

Nice work Wayne! Did you write this yourself or is it included with UBB?

Just one thing, in the Listing by Model section, all the cars after the 912 point to the 912 page.

Any chance of having small pics in our sigs now?

Isn't this already possible using the UBB codes available previously?

I'm thinking that's a big ol' "yep."

As a guy already guilty of posting too many pictures, my vote would be against pictures in the signature files. If I was connecting with a modem, I don't know if I'd want to wait for a dozen pictures I'd already seen to load every time I opened a thread.

If an image brings us new information, or is something we haven't seen before, I think it's worth the wait. But if it's just a way to decorate the posts, then I think it's not really fair until everyone has a T1 connection.

I do think that I'm going to disable the pics in the signature file, as it does slow down the site.

Fixed the security bug, thanks Jack...

This is not part of UBB, but a separate program that I bought and modified for use with the UBB, and the site.

Mark has done a great job with the other gallery, and he offered to sell it to Pelican, however, his price was more than I have paid for my cars!

After thinking about it, I decided that a better integration with the UBB was the better way to go...

I agree about the bandwidth, as I connect with a modem. I was just showing it was possible. As far as disabling pictures, how would that work? The 2nd post I did used plain old HTML with the "" tag; I would think disabling that would disable all HTML in signatures.
