8x15 Fuchs on 1975 narrowbody?

Hi yesterday I got an offer on trading my 6x15 Fuchs for 8x15.
But is there any chance of using them on my narrow-body car?
It was suggested that if I would use 215/60-15 with a "round" shoulder and add negative camber it sould be ok?

I guess 7" Fuchs would be a better choice?
Thanks for advice...

It's not gonna work w/ 911 8s w/ ET10.6

for the back of a narrow '69-77 911, 911 7s w/ ET 23.3 can be made to work as can 944 7 or 8s also w/ ET23.3. Tires and suspension config will be crucial, much more so w/ 8 than 7.

The same wheels fit the front as fit the back.

Many thanks for the info Bill!
I will need to get more information from my pal about the ET. Maybe we will try to change to the 8" wheels to see. We have the opportunity to try that.
My car is not lowered, that may help.

Again thanks, Ole

Not lowered it might help, but I doubt it. The issue with the 8's and even with some 7's on a narrow body is as you stomp on the gas and the rear of the car squats down the tires will rub on the inside of the fenders. I've been there done that. I am running 16x7's on the rear of my 76, with 205/50/16 tires (I think) but I'm also running stiffer torsion bars. I have a buddy who is running 16x7's on the rear of his car but he is running 45 series tires.

Its one of those things that probably could be made to work, but its not going to be as simple as taking off the old wheels and putting the new ones on.
