Went last month. there was only about 4 porsches there ( not including the 917, and three 356 replicas) I will be there!

I got there at about 630 last time and there were only a handful of cars but by 715 it was packed!

Actually, since I chunked my tires up so bad at Willow a couple of weeks ago, I'll be driving at 60mph max all the way down there from Escondido.

Nice location for a get together! Went there a few years ago, and Balboa Park is indeed a beautiful place. The auto museum, as well as the aerospace(?) museum is a great visit for car guys w/out a doubt.
You CA guys suck............

There is an SCCA Solo event at Qualcomm about ten minutes away on Sunday. Those of you leaving Balboa could stop by and run your Porsches in the afternoon session.... A whole cadre of vintage Porsches would be fun.
