Throw out lever; what is it made of?

Does anyone know what this throw out lever is made of?

Cast iron? Cast steel?

Thanks in advance,
Frank

I would think Steel. Mine was bent and I heated it up with a torch and hit it multiple times with a BFH. I would think if it was iron it would have broke.

Thanks, Does anyone know for sure?

I would also figure steel seeing as cast iron is actually quite brittle, any other possibilities like magnesium?
