Who are we Pelicans using to rebuild early starters?

I have the early SR-17X on my 901. I have a new or rebuilt SR-76 stashed away somewhere here too. Question is do I have the 17 rebuilt because sometimes it grinds or do I install the 68. I hear the 68 will make the engine turn over quicker? I have higher compression pistons in my 2.0 so I figure that could help?

Don't know where you are. I use Lehr auto electric here in Sacramento, they did my '73 911 starter, my '74 GTV starter, my friends TR6 starter and various work truck starters. All work is / was fast and professional. Lehr Auto Electric 800-982-8468 www.Lehrauto.com | ||
