Cleaning deposits on back of intake valves?
Any advice on cleaning deposits off of the back side of intake valves without pulling the head off the car? I have the intake manifold runner off of this cylinder and can see some buildup of carbon on the back of the valve head. I'm sure there is more in the combustion chamber as well. Thanks in advance. Bill

What are you normally running for fuel? You might want to run a bottle of Techron with a fresh tank of gas. You could also try this...

I used BG 44K and had great luck.

Perhaps try squirting pure techron on to the back of the valves and let it sit for hours??

No need to manually treat the deposits. Just run a can of Berryman B12 Chemtool in your gas tank and they'll be all clean.
