Recaro Pole Pos, seat to 74' rails ?
Hello,
I am looking for the definitive part number for the seat uprights/brackets that I need to bolt Recaro Pole Position race seat onto the stock adjustable rails in my 1974 911. I want to keep the stock adjustable rails. Anyone know the correct part number or trick, 2"x 4" & tons of duck tape,??? Thanks in advance, Paul

Cool, there are some on Ebay, but different part number. Do you think they will work?
Thanks a thousand (economy being the way it is), Paul

the SPG is much narrower than a PP @395mm vs 430mm for PP & SPG XL. It will use a different sidemount.
Best for you is to call HMS or BK, tell them what you are doing , ask for their recs. Mounting these seats is as much art as science.

That mount is different, see how the sides of my mount are vertical and then bend in 90 degrees, the sides don't kick out like the ones on eBay.
FWIW- the HMS mount in the link is the mount I used for my Pole Position and is the one in the picture.

be careful with the ones from Ebay they are too wide and won't work.
BK has there own that works with all the fixed backs. |

I will be ordering a pair first thing Monday. The BK 's are a little less money.
