Guide?
anybody know what 911-423-215-00 is?
it is item # 54 in the pedal/tunnel diagram I am wondering if it goes in the tunnel somewhere? and what it is supposed to guide...

That looks like the guide for the clutch cable on a type 911 transmission..
It is bolted on the transmission and "guides" the cable guide tube as it deflects.... the 70-71 had that odd pull clutch system. At least that is what the item in the PET diagram looks like

that's what I thought
BUT - I thought that PET page was for a 1973 car and the guide is placed way over by the pedals... |
