I have heard stories about things that were left in 911's while being build at the Porsche factory. I'd love to hear your stories and pictures of what you found.

I remember a thread a while ago that showed pics of beer bottle caps in the undercoating or in various areas during restorations. I'll search to see if I can find the thread.

Well, it wasn't my 911 but my Boxster had an annoying clunk in the rear end. I finally stripped out the carpet and found a German golf ball rolling around in the trunk.

Well it wasn't left by the factory (I hope), but by a PO...the attached bumper sticker was found under the carpet of my '66 911...oh....those sixties!!

I found a small can of mushrooms wedged under the passenger seat of my 83SC. Looks to be about the age of the car.

A 10 pfennig coin in the ashtray, dated 1983 from a PO (car was European delivery in 72). It's still there today.

I was watching Unique Whips once and somebody had dropped their brand new Cayenne off for some mods and they took the front bumper undertray off and found a big ass mallet that was left in there from the factory.

found a metallica t shirt in the trunk some mice made a nice bed out of. Also found a german penny in the tunnel from the year of the car its still in there.

really gross - i noticed some discoloring in me headlining near the zip some years back! Opened the headlining zip for the first time (had the car for over a year) and found a condom in its packet! But packet was kind of leaking.... wanted to gag.
