The 4 level heater control was used on Cars with A/C I can't remember what year it started but I thing it was 77 or 78.

It will fit an SC, I put one one in mine as I am putting the A/C back together.

My 80SC had a bad dash cable (bent) that wouldn't work when I got the car. I removed the cable and had a new one made up.

that might be a good alternative, especially since I wont have to tear up the car to replace everything. Where did you get the cable? I have 2 that are broken and need replacement.
I really appreciate the guidance.
