ohhh that was a nice car! but I think the 907 is more rare, no? I had to run up to Disney for my oldest's 7th bday, but I'll post some good shots when I get home tomorrow. I have some great shots of the two Jaeger cars, the 907, 910, Carrera 6, and a host of other great 4 wheeled animals!

Did you see that Ferrari that was for sale went out on track later in the day... great sound! I got a ride with Klaus in the Amalfi 2.0L 911. Man that car was cruizing when you got on it... anything else and it was a cantankorous little beasty. The Audi R8 was hauling azz as well as the Jag prototype. I think the Jag had the best sounds coming down the front straight!

Great day and a very nice event. I think I counted 10 Ferrari 430's and one BB312 which is quite a rare car. The Porsche coral was packed, but there were few Porsches running on track. The ones that were running were rare though!

I'll get some good pics up later.

It was great to see you Brodie!

So all these went out on the track at the same time! who do you think won??

Left to right: 907, Z06, 430 Scudaria (or something like that), Carrera GT, and Viper GTS

907 Up close!

CGT art shot. Think I can make the cover of Pano with this??

910 cover art shot:

Ferrari BB312... I have never seen this car before... pretty cool thing:

the true meaning of Jack Stands:

so this car looks like a regular 964 up on 4 race jacks... NNoooooooo sir! This is 1 of 20 AWD aluminum bodied cars made out of some left over shells used for rally. Apparently, it took a few calls to a NH Senator to just get it in the country.

And finally, me taking some touring laps with Klaus, head wrench at Amalfi Racing, my gracious hosts.

This is a hopped up 2.0l... this car was not happy unless the pedal was on the floor. After we were finished Klaus turned to me and said in the your best imagined deep German voice, "This car, it does not like to go slow. The engine is not happy"

I have more pics of on-track cars: Audi R8 (that was assembled completely from spare pars bought after champion shut down their race program), various 430's, 355 challenge, some old Ferrari that was for sale , old 911s, lotus's, and some stuff I could not identify... If anyone is interested in a full size pic of the above or seeing some more pics let me know.

If you are a Pano editer I would be happy to supply a full format for anything I take free of charge

Bet regards,

Michael

Enjoy!

a few more from that day

I just came across this thread. I was there and brought my little pocket camera. Here's a few snaps from that day.
It was cool that there was go cart racing and drag racing going on at the same time as the road racing. Some of them were driving pretty hard.

My car runs better after the drive back on beeline hwy.
