Looking for ideas - what would you do with this engine?

So, I picked up an 81 ROW car for very little money that found the guardrail at Watkins Glen. I first thought the damage was just sheet metal but it turns out the tub is very tweaked and it really doesn't make sense to rebuild it given the overall condition. The car has some nice parts on it which I can sell and make most of my money back - perfect dash, 7&8 fuchs, h4's and an OEM early turbo tail with complete wiper assembly. I'll use the suspension bits as spares for my SC race car.

I'm going to rebuild the 915 and the 3.0 has good leakdown with 1 broken stud (and a set of SSI's).

Looking for ideas of what to do with the engine and what to drop it into other than just an SC roller. I would really like to drop it into a narrow bodied car, but seems like rollers don't come up that often...maybe a 912? Not looking to do an RS or RSR recreation. Have thought about doing some kind of rat rod.

Use your creativity...any ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

US 1974-1977 stock 2.7 seem to go for cheap. That said, it's usually the 2.7 engine that's not worth sinking $15k into a rebuild.

One of these: Replica Porsche 550 A6 (911 Power)

Or a hot rodded 356 would be cool...
