The 912 is called 'Lucky' that would be a state of mind while driving it as to how far you'll get, the 944 is called 'Blackie' because of its color and the 911 is called "El Gordo" which means the Fat One because of its wide body.......that been said after my recent divorce I should be the one called 'Lucky' because I was able to keep them...ja...ja...ja.....

My '72 T was originally called "Machima," by my son who was three at the time (1993) Now I call her (and it is a she), my "little rock and roller" taken from one of my favorite Rolling Stones songs. We are going Vintage racing this Spring and we are going to have some fun.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1237401451.jpg

My former 912E (Viper Green) was "Kermit". My ongoing project is "Sarge" (Marine Blue Cab).

My silver 76 is named Mulva. I am a big Seinfeld freak. The red 944 was named by my female friends as Jake Ryan. They seem to like the 944 alot more , and all think Jake was very hot in 16 candles, so it stuck. Incidentally, my boat is named Giddyup, which is again a Seinfeld reference

I used to have a Sepia brown 73 Targa I lovingly called the Turd Wagon. It was a little rough to look at, but it was very sound mechanically.

Porkskin...

I parked my Porsche in front of a guys side gate. He knocks on our door the next morning, then walks in, yelling something about "Porkskin." It turns out he just had an extreme Asian accent. He referred to the gate as his "drive way"... on the side of the yard.

I call my 911 the "racecar" since I autoX it. I also call it the "little car" since the other is a Landcruiser.
Noramally I just refer to it as "the 911"
