I did my Carrera script on my car last weekend. Came out really nice! I love it! Yours looks great too.

Was flipping through a 1973 factory manual and found the following on how the factory placed the lettering:

The lower edge of the lettering is 50 mm above the bottom edge of the door.

Left door: Align the starting letter "C" 1 cm behind the forward door edge.

Right door: Align the point of the letter "a" at the forward door.

Looks mine are wrong on both sides... :eek:

Thank you! :D I know my placement of the decals aren't to factory spec, but it's ok, I don't have an early RS or RSR replica so it's not critical. I just wanted the best placement for my car. I'm not gonna be entering it at any concourse d'elegance shows anytime soon lol. With the letters higher up, I think it looks slightly too high, kind of makes the car look higher off the ground.

Mike Z is sending me a Red set for my black SC, will look good with my Red Fuchs:cool:

I've just done the reverse.

Was running 17" Cup 1's for the past 6 years.

A month ago I put 7 & 8 Fuchs back on; the car is so much better to drive...
The Cups are for sale.

Moral of the story; NEVER sell your Fuchs.

I'm just now about to get the Fuchs refurbed; media blasted then satin black centres.

Looking at these pix I may get the side decal too. The decal would look pretty cool and understated with the Midnight Blue body.

I agree with red, though I guess I'm biased.

Did a trade with Byron, rear shocks for my 914/6 project for the graphics...actually two sets and some Pegasus logos from Mobil Oil....and some Bones wheels and 3/4 traxz for old school skate boards.

I wonder what would the cup wheels painted black look on a gPrix white , with script ? any one out there made this conversion on a white 911? like to see it before i go through all the work. getting bored with the silver painted. thanks

Are these 7.5 and 9 x 17 wheels, and are you using spacers ?

Thanks! These are the factory wide body wheels that came with the car, 16x7 and 16x8 with factory spacers.

I would like to see this exact same thing, as I am getting my GP White SC with Silver Cup Replicas back from the painter this week, and the wheels will still need paint...

I just sent a set to Brant in Las Vegas. I hope he posts a pic when finished.
