Crosshaft seal orientation

Can't seem to find this adddressed. I've uploaded the diagram and I'm trying to determine the correct orientation of the seal that goes on the crosshaft that butts up against the needle bearing. My car has the first version of the "upgraded" crosshaft and I'm replacing the needle bearings ordered from out host, along with the seals. I've seen it stated the seal has to go in correctly but nothing that details what "correct" is. In the diagram I have "A" and "B" which shows a rough cross section of what the seal looks like. On mine they were not installed the same so it looks like it was not done correctly. I'm GUESSING that the angled side of the seal goes up against the needle bearing (version "B") to hold the grease inside but that's just a guess.
TIA
