rear wheel jumping bad when trying to let clutch out from standing stop

just started to hapen all of the sudden. when stopped i can't get smooth clutch enguage meant when trying to get the car moving. car is 1983 930 and the clutch cable and pedal cluster bushing were replaced 3 months ago. engine was replaced as was the clutch and t/o bearing. just got it out of the shop- replaced torsion bar, bushings, and shocks front and rear. took it to get corner balanced and 4 wheel alignment and it started doing this on the way home. once the car is moving there are no problems just standing starts. i had a friend of mine try to get it moving as i watched and the rear wheel was hopping all over the place violently. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try mounts at first. If not you might have a bad clutch or damaged flywheel.

Check the shock absorber on the bouncing wheel.

Did they surface the flywheel when they put the clutch in it?

my 82 did the exact same thing it was so bad it would stall.

look at your mounts if they look collapsed as in the diagram they need replacing.
if your over 100k miles they're bad.

Just out of the alignment shop and it started suddenly? I'd be looking at all the bolts involved as well as the mounts. If anything is found to be loose on the spring plates, you will need it re balanced (for free, of course!).

Since you just had your clutch cable replaced, make sure your Bowden tube is adjusted correctly. If not it will cause a very violent shake from the rear at take off.

I had same symptom, -- it was the Boden tube. Make sure it is not close to any item along its length, --adjustment can move it clear of any item.

see if all 4 engine to trans nuts are tight. uneven tightening of the 9 pressure plate bolts can damage the p plate. i've had that problem using a spring disc in a 930. switched to rubber hub and it was smooth. motor mounts, bowdern tube adjustment or just an old dragging clutch cable can do it. whatever, take it back and have the shop deal with it.

had a new clutch cable installed when the engine was swapped(3 months ago and maybe 1000 miles). the shop said it would stretch and need to be readjusted. could this cause it to shutter that bad on intial take off? it shift fine and behaves normally once rolling(no noises, grinding, or slippage). the weird thing is it just started to do this after all this suspension work was done. maybe just coincidence? will tell them to check trns mount and engine bolts.

there are two adjustments for the clutch. there needs to be a small amount of clearance between the short arm and the bolt through the long arm (about 1mm) and the two nuts on the bowden tube are then adjusted to get a comfortable engagement point of the pedal.
