Post storage procedures

I'm going to be removing my '87 Carrera from storage in the next couple of weeks. Is there anything I need to do before I start the car? The car has been in storage since mid October. The battery is already taken care of as it was removed and brought it inside where it was put on a battery tender. Should I removed the coil or plug wires and turn the engine over for a few rotations before firing? I realize I should check the oil, tire pressures etc. but I would like to know that I have covered my other bases.

I unplugged the DME (under the drivers seat) and cranked it over until oil pressure came up(pretty much immediately). I checked tire pressures and looked for any rodent activity then I took it for a nice long drive!

If you want to turn it over before firing it up, pull the DME relay under the driver's seat. This will disable the fuel pump and allow you to turn the engine over without squirting fuel into your engine. Then plug the relay back in and fire it up.

jlandreth beat me to it; I'm slow on the keyboard...
