Change spark plugs today, but sounds flat.
 

I post this problem a month ago, my engine sounds and feels like its running on 5cyl. I just change out the plugs today, also check out plug wire at night to see possible light show, no show! I change the cap and rotor as well a month ago. I don't get it! Any ideals Guys? I need HELP!!

You may not have one of the spark plug wires on all the way. They need to connect to the plug with a distinct <snap> sound. Pull each wire and replace them and listen for the snap.

I made sure that they click in on every plug wire, because it was making the same sound and feeling before the change out. It just sounds and feels like it not running on all cyl. Could it be a valve adjustment needed? Help!

It could be an assortment of things not limited to:
Clogged fuel injectors, clogged fuel filter, valve adjustment. How many miles since the valves were adjusted?

What plugs did you use....make and model#

Did you get the wires on the distributor in the correct firing order?

Take a pic of the engine bay area and post it.

switched wires, bad connection, broken connector.

since they are brand new plugs, if you pull them, you'll easily see which one(s) have not been firing.

I had a new fuel pump and fuel filter install last year Sept 08. I don't drive this car as a daily driver. When I bought this car in 2005 it had 84k mi on it. It has 121k now. The last minor service done on it was Sept 08, and they told me that the valves sound fine. They would adjust them on my next major service? I mark all the plugs wire so there would not be a problem. I use NGK BPR6ES 7131. Gap @ .028 ... I Don't get it? Thanks Jman718

Make sure the plugs are snug in. Also, h2o in gas will cause sluggishness. Good luck. This $hit can drive one crazy...

If the car was in fact running good before you changed the plugs then it has to be either a bad (new) plug or you could have broke a wire when you were changing. If you took the wires off one at a time and change the plugs that way you could not have crossed a wire.
You can pull the wires off the dizzy one at a time and when you do you will notice a great diffenence in how the car runs. When you pull the bad wire/plug you found your problem.

I suspect a bad plug wire. Test resistance with a multimeter set to "ohms". The connectors unscrew from the wire so you can replace just the connector if it's bad rather then the whole wire set. Sometimes the resistors internal to the connector can fail also. I had a bad wire that corroded internally at the dist. cap connector. Took it apart and cleaned it then worked ok.

I don't think this is a problem that surfaced after the plug change

Buy new plug wires. Buy a new cap. Buy a new rotor. Get the valves adjusted. Get a compression check.

A hole in a valve will kill the compression in one cylinder, and eventually lead to a dropped valve, which will lead to a $10,000 BILL, LOL

You get the valves adjusted every 15,000 miles, so you are HOW far behind schedule ?

Do measure the wire resistance (amen).
