Show me pictures of the 3.8 RS/RSR please

I'm thinking of going the 3.8 RS/RSR look on my 964. Does anyone have any pictures to inspire me? TIA

So, it's basically a 965 body with the RS tail?

Thanks Bill! I love those 3.8 RS pictures. Do you know what the size/offsets are for those wheels?

I'm finishing up my conversion...All I need are the rockers, but I'll be using the 996 aero style rockers custom made for 11" fenders. I'd rather not mess up the lines of the fender with the "shark fin" rockers of the 965.

Thanks Jerry.

BTW, I'm using stock OEM spacers (i.e., only the fronts). Here's the specs on my RH 3.6:

F: 8.5 x18 225/40/18 ET 21
R: 10x18 285/30/18 ET 15

wheels used on a 930 w/ body kit have no relation to wheels used on a 964 based RS3.8

Here's mine this past summer. She's undergoing a complete rebuild this winter and is currently naked.

Orginally a '74...now upgraded with just a couple of go fast bits....

The 3.8 is also one of my favorite cars. I have done some research on the car and know that the fronts are 18x9 and the rears are 18x11. The offset is what seems to be weird, I believe the car has the standard 965 front suspension which makes the front offset around 50-52. The rear is the odd ball, I feel ( i have never seen one in person) that they did use the 930 rear suspension for is training arm strength or something simular because the rear offsets are like -50. I dont think the fenders are any wider I would be curious to look up and see what the rear trainling arms are, i wouldnt be surprised if the were 930. Which would settle the rear wheel offset. my basturd 3.8 look, Kevin

All 964/5 are coil-overs. Nothing resembling a 930.

Yeah Kevin...I think your right. The 3.8 RS picture that Bill posted shows an usually deep dish on the rear.

Looking at the rear of the car bill posted it looks like it also could be a standard 964 rear width, hub track width, Kevin

Just found some more info, Kevin is correct the wheels were 9 & 11 x18. Tire 235/40 & 285/35. The suspension was based on the narrower 964 design, in fact many 965 owners swapped in the narrow trailing arms in order to use low o/s wheels
