New M&K premuffler

I got my premuffler the other day and put it on the same day. That thing looks awesome. If Ben (mb911) tells you he has a part that is dinged... BUY IT!
Thanks Ben!

I noticed that my idle dropped off to about 750 RPM from around 875. I also noticed that it pops (almost like a faint backfire from the exhaust). It happens when I excellerate after shifting gears while driving aggressive.

I plan on having the CO2 levels adjusted and readjust the idle. I am hoping this will clear it up.

Just alittle background, I recently pulled the intake and replaced all intake gaskets and questionable vacuum hoses. It ran sweet after that. The best I have seen it run since I bought it.

Slight Back Fire is the side effects of a CBP or PreMuff. It can be tuned out but think of it as a race car sound

Definitely check your AFR and reset your base idle to 880.

I dont have any pic's right now.

I dont think it is any louder than before, maybe alittle throaty. A lower pitch tone.

I will probably notice a difference once the AFM is adjusted right.

I also noticed a slight backfiring on deceleration after fabspeed premuffler install. But like others have mentioned I kind of like the "boy racer" sound.

My 3.2 does a good amount of backfiring at idle with the cat bypass and a M&k 1-1. People often ask me why thats happening but I assure them its a good thing lol
